​These are my personal opinions and suggestions:

​Ways That Grassroots Supporters Can Be More Effective

1. GO ON THE OFFENSIVE INSTEAD OF PLAYING DEFENSE
Most Tulsi supporters are playing defense instead of going on the offensive. There is a huge difference between responding to someone else's narrative (defense) and controlling the narrative (offense). Many Tulsi supporters spend too much time responding to attacks, criticisms and smears (defense) instead of simply putting forth reasons why people should support Tulsi (offense).

2. IGNORE THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA
Similarly, too many Tulsi supporters spend too much time complaining about the mainstream media coverage of Tulsi. The Mainstream Media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, the New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. Please realize this: the corporate media will NOT support Tulsi Gabbard, so STOP supporting the corporate media! The mainstream media will NEVER be on the side of the people against the system?

3. BE THE MEDIA
Every Tulsi supporter should create a personalized graphic, audio and/or video expressing the specific reasons why they support Tulsi. Be proactive and create and spread your own message. Take out your smart phone, hand it to someone and ask them to video record you stating why you support Tulsi and then help them do the same. Share your video statements with other people as far and wide as possible.

4. GET OUTSIDE THE ECHO CHAMBER
Too many Tulsi supporters simply regurgitate mainstream media “news” within their comfort zone inside the echo chamber of like-minded people in Facebook groups and similar platforms. Reach out to veterans, environmental groups, peace groups, Libertarians, and other groups outside of those that already support Tulsi.

5. USE YOUR TIME EFFECTIVELY
Too many Tulsi supporters spend too much time debating the nuances of policy or talking about the results of the latest opinion poll. This is valid and important, but it does very little (if anything at all) to spread the word to people outside of Tulsi's current supporters.

6. INVITE PEOPLE TO LEARN ABOUT TULSI FIRST
In the amount of time one might spend trying to convince one person to support Tulsi, anyone could have invited hundreds of people to learn about Tulsi. It is a mistake to ask people to donate BEFORE encouraging people to learn more about Tulsi Gabbard and giving them the opportunity to do so. Invite people to learn about Tulsi first. Give them an opportunity to learn about Tulsi and THEN encourage them to donate.

7. REACH OUT TO THE PUBLIC IN THE PHYSICAL, REAL WORLD.
There needs to be a lot more canvassing, text messaging, phone banking, tabling, honking and waving, writing letters to the editor, etc. We all need to invite more strangers to learn about Tulsi. Don't rely on social media. Communicate and connect with real people in the real world.

9. DON'T RELY ON THE DEBATE
Too many people are assuming that Tulsi will get a boost in popularity because she will “crush the debates.” It would be more reasonable to expect that the debate moderators will work hard to smear and discredit Tulsi and the mainstream will ignore the fact that she was even there. DON'T LET THE DEBATE BE PEOPLE'S FIRST IMPRESSION OF TULSI. Reach out to everyone you possibly can and help them to be better informed so they can see through the mainstream media attempts to discredit and smear Tulsi BEFORE THE DEBATES. It is a mistake to rely on events that are beyond your control in order to sway someone else to support Tulsi.

10. DON'T WAIT FOR THE CAMPAIGN
Don't wait for the campaign to ask you to volunteer to do something – just do it. The grassroots must lead politicians, not the other way around. Take it upon yourself to schedule organizational meetings, honk-n-waves, and other events in addition to attending official Tulsi events.

STOP Doing These Things:

STOP trying to do battle with corporate media.

STOP clicking on corporate media links and generating advertising revenue and search engine optimization for them.

STOP reading their propaganda.

STOP commenting, sharing and retweeting THEIR propaganda.


STOP debating or arguing with people who have already closed their minds and are unwilling to learn.

​STOP trying to convert opponents.

STOP reposting or sharing mainstream media garbage. Every bit of energy that you give to the corporate media (thinking that you are opposing it) actually feeds the beast and gives it more energy. Your attention to corporate media literally generates advertising revenue for them and it elevates their propaganda in search engines and social media platforms.

​STOP "liking" or "reacting to" positive posts about Tulsi. That accomplishes practically NOTHING. If you see a post that you like, share the information via private message with your Facebook "friends" who do NOT support Tulsi.

I highly recommend that you BREAK YOUR ADDICTION TO CORPORATE MEDIA PROPAGANDA and CHANGE YOUR HABITS. Support Tulsi's online platforms, not the mainstream and social media platforms that are owned by billionaire oligarchs.



DISCUSSING MAINSTREAM PROPAGANDA, ARGUING WITH HATERS, DEBATING POLICY OR OPINION POLLS ON SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOWHERE NEAR AS IMPORTANT AS ORGANIZING, CANVASSING AND REACHING OUT AND INTRODUCING NEW PEOPLE TO TULSI GABBARD IN ORDER TO EXPAND HER BASE OF SUPPORT.

REACH OUT DIRECTLY TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND INVITE THEM TO LEARN ABOUT TULSI GABBARD.

Reach out to new people who do not yet know about Tulsi Gabbard and inform them. Share information with people who reside OUTSIDE the echo chamber of closed Facebook groups that are filled with people who already support Tulsi Gabbard.

Pick your favorite information about Tulsi Gabbard and do the following:
  • Send an email to everyone on your email contact list.
  • Send a text message to every phone number in your phone contact list.
  • Send a private message to every single one of your Facebook "friends".
  • Send a Direct Message to everyone who follows you on Twitter.
